Pete Best interview

Postby eggman1979 » Wed Nov 24, 2010 8:40 pm

Just a little homage to this man on occasion of his 69th birthday. Like it or not, he is one of the founders of the best band ever. It would be nice if someday Paul and Pete just meet, shake hands and talk about the early days.

My english sucks. Sorry for that. What I meant is that Pete is one of the original members, you know, not Quarrymen, Beatles.

No problem. You had me thinking about this topic after I replied. It's hard to say what really went through any of their minds back then. They were all quite young after all. Can't help but feel a little bit sorry for him though.

Cheers :santa

You know, why would Paul and Pete just meet?

You been in a band with someone at age 20 for 2 years, and at age 60 you get back together with them?

I don't think Paul owes Pete anything, and Pete has certainly made some money off the role he played.

i agree, jg. if it was important for paul to have remained close with pete, he most likely would have.

it was a long time ago. it isn't as if he never had an opportunity.
I want to tell her that I love her a lot, but I got to get a belly full of wine.
