It's great that the Beeb are broadcasting these old programs again. These were originally from 1973 and was probably one of the first documentary's on The Beatles ever made. Interestingly the versions doing the rounds on bootleg are the edited US broadcasts with about 10 minutes cut from each episode to allow for ads but these are the original uncut UK versions.
From Episode 4: "In America the death of President Kennedy symbolized the end of the brief era in which youth had a small say in the affairs of their country". What rubbish! What are they smoking at the BBC?
