Watching some tracks from the ELO Zoom DVD.
Jeff Lynne sounds as good or better than he did in the 70's/80's.

The new Twilight Singers album Dynamite Steps. If you have not heard of them, give them a listen.

Ron Sexsmith - Long Player Late Bloomer. Maybe the best songwriter in pop today
Gilbert O´Sullivan - still a bunch of very good songs, especially "All they wanted to say" and "Down down here". A very underrated songwriter

the mention of Thin Lizzy brings to mind the sad fact that the great all-around blues/rock guitarist, gary moore, shuffled off this mortal coil recently...

still got the blues, indeed...

"So Beautiful Or So What" by Paul Simon. His last album, "Surprise" was my fave album of last decade. This one is that great again.
Hear the whole album, streaming online...release date is April 12th.

Yeah, Ron Sexsmith's new cd is great stuff. Very melodic. Also, Rusty Anderson plays guitar on it.
