I think Wonderful Christastime is a GREAT song. Every time I hear it around the holidays, it just makes me FEEL like Christmas.
No doubt. My family has always loved the song and the silly video. It's not Christmas without it at my house. LOVE IT!!

I always get stuck on listening to Elvis sing Blue Christmas.
I don't know why, but that song is just hilarious to me. Something about all that blue, blue, blue, blue, blue Christmas part.
I love Happy Xmas, though. That's my Xmas song. (and alvin and the chipmunks too[:D]) LOL

I love Happy Xmas, though. I would love that one, AUJ, except that there's WAY too much Bin Ono. Christmas is supposed to be a joyous time--that makes me ill. Maybe I should make an altered version. [:D]

I guess I am lucky, I live in a tri state metro area, around pittsburgh. the four stations i listen to are all classic rock, two in pittsburgh -my fav is DVE which does ALL ROCK, old and new but only new real rock, no crap; one in Youngstown, one in Cleveland, so we do get a good bit of Paul, Beatles, Wings as well as some other good songs. I drive an old beater car which badly needs a CD player, I plan on getting one so I can rock out with more Paul on the CD player. [8D]

The most ironic thing about this thread is that the moment I am writing my reply (October 6th) a cover version of The Long And Winding Road (albeit a truly dreadful version) is at number 1 in the UK singles chart!

Oh, gawd, no! That piece of sh!t made no1? Typical. It's so damn soppy, it's untrue! I turned in my grave when I heard it - and I'm not even dead!

As for Wonderful Christmas Time, well, I love it. It's a huge spirit-raiser for me - I pick up when I hear it, every time! Not many songs I can say that about!

Maybe does not because youth's taste changes everytime?? But should not the good music ALWAYS be good?? I see myself at my 90 still listening(if I'll still be able to hear)to THE BEATLES. Who knows if nowaday's youth will be listening to ermmm...Wallflowers, Counting Crows, Suede, Radiohead, such 90's and 2000's group/artists until their 80, 90 y.o.?? I don't know...

Peace.
