Here's another from the new CD, called "Ghosts of Summer Sun"... Hope you like it. I wrote it after I read a biography about Brian Wilson.
Ghosts of Summer Sun
We would take the watercolor path
And we’d run in rain like acrobats
Took a drive out to the ocean waves
As we wrote the stories of our days
Ghosts of summer sun / ghosts of summer sun
Once upon a time, or maybe twice
I swear those postcards came to life
And though September always stung
We held the ghosts of summer sun
Ghosts of summer sun / ghosts of summer sun
Time went by like a hurricane parade
Not sure that we knew we couldn’t stay
Copper-colored sunsets take me back
When a day was love and long laugh-tracks
Every night felt like a hole-in-one
As we made the ghosts of summer sun
Ghosts of summer sun / ghosts of summer sun
