Too bad that the original thread about the upcoming remasters has turned into a anti-Macca feast..

Maybe we could start things over here for those of us who are PRO the remasters and want to read info and reviews on them.
What do you say?

As far as I know they haven't been released.

..AND there's been no real news or info, which means you can't review it/them...

thus all the speculation before, mostly about what people would like to see, as well as some about what they would not like to see....

i'm still waiting for the definitive, 12 minute vesion of 'why don't we do it in the road' tha paul did with Pink Floyd...

Well off course I know they haven´t been released yet. What I meant is that we can collect all the UPCOMING info, news and reviews here.
So we don´t have to search in other threads for everything

Band on the run will be released in various formats:

A "standard" digipack version including 1 CD
A “deluxe” edition including 2 CDs and 1 DVD
A multi-disc special edition collection including 3 CDs, a DVD and a "hard book"
An “double vinyl” edition

and your sure this is the super deluxe edition with the 3cds and such? I want to get the most deluxe edition possible along with the vinyl!

Let's hope all editions are released at the same time. I don't want to buy one edtion when it comes out and then have a "better" edition come out on a later date. I think a DVD edition of MAF was released a few months after the CD release of it.

my concern is it might not even be a better version of what we already may have. wasn't band on the run remastered just a few years ago?...25th anniversary edition? why would this new-as-of-yet-unreleased version be any better than that?
