"The Concert For Bangladesh" was the most great musical event of the early 70s after the Woodstock and Isle of Wight Festival and further inspired the following charitable concerts. That was a great concert I think... Great guest musicians George just could be joining to become the concert historical. Did anyone see that video??

LOL Steve[:D] And I bet that you think the best thing George did on that concert was that he refused Yoko's participation. LOL[:D] Just for that John didn't appear nor didn't see the concert.

Unfortunately nito, I have only seen a small clip of George singing While My Guitar Gently Weeps. I'd love to see the whole concert though.

Funnily enough Liam, no. I actually saw it on a program called The Rock And Roll Years I videotaped off BBC1 in 1990. That week's edition was based on 1971 and the clip mentioned was shown over the closing titles. I did tape quite a few of the George tribute news programmes from last November though.

Ah - that's where you'll have the edge. I was only 8 back then, the only stuff I knew of The Beatles was the WTB album that my mother had on LP. I had other things on my mind at the time . . . [:D]
