Ipod nano or Ipod shuffle?

I am going to by one of these. Which of is the best??

Ipod shuffle is a lot cheaper. I am going to use when running or cycling

depends how many songs you want on it. i bought my two oldest kids an ipod touch (32 gb) this last christmas. and they really are the coolest things. they are like computers in your pocket. you can check your e-mail. listen to songs. watch movies. look at photos. no doubt pricier than a nano or a shuffle...but well worth the investment if you can swing it. good luck either way.
