MACCA Radio buffering issues: UPDATE

Last week because of budgeting issues we had to let go of an alternate streaming provider resulting in the PRIMARY streaming back to the France server. This server though works very well in some countries, there are apparently severe buffering issues within the US. I am going to find a new Primary provider with a US location, and move the France server back to secondary shortly.

I surely do apologize for inconvenience this is causing but I get what I pay for, donations are down so I am forced to look for and use budget streaming providers. I found another provider and awaiting the server to be setup. I will be making the changes to all the links in MACCA Radio when that time comes, all you will need to do is refresh the page and use the new links. For those who have bookmarked and/or use older links for their internet radio boxes, you will have to update your settings with the new url.

I have put a new primary stream server up and moved the other France server to a secondary feed. Reception reports are valuable at this time as I need to make sure the primary provider works reliably, so any bufferring issues, Please report them by going here http://www.macca-central.com/contact/co ... n%20Report

If all is well over this next week I'll leave it as is but if this particular provider has any buffering issues, I will need to switch to another that I would like to test.

Great work Mike! Here in Western New York it works great on Macca-Central site, but not at Macca-Radio as well...same as Philly.

I've been getting other Reception Reports and they have all been favourable for the primary feed which is good news for US based listeners.

I recently donated but did not receive a confirmation and my statistics did not update. I emailed you but did not get a reply. Perhaps it went to my junk filter? The charge hit my crdit card on January 21, 2010.
