Thanks Mike! That was really nice for an audience tape. And...it really reinforces something that I've personally noticed. Having two tapes, from different vantage points, & sources & on different equipment makes for radically different sounding results of the same performance. I'd listened to clips of "Ob-la-di, Ob-la-da" on youtube, and the sound was cringe inducing bad. I thought geez what a lousy performance...wonder if the whole night was that off...he really shouldn't have even bothered with that...what is so challenging about that number to bring that kind of results...etc., etc. . Well the clip here of the same performance sounds great, and not at all like the same performance even. I've noticed before where you wouldn't guess that two clips were of the same performance as they sounded so different.
