Reamstered Beatles on Macca Radio?

Postby jgkojak » Fri Aug 28, 2009 5:23 pm

Haven't seen this asked (though I'm sure it has and I missed it)--

Is Macca Radio gonna have remastered Beatles (especially mono?)

And have you considered doing a fund-drive, if that's the issue, to PUT REMASTERED BEATLES ON MACCA RADIO? I'd contribute to that!

I haven't done the research yet, what would the total cost be. If there was enough contributions, yes of course. Good suggestion !

UPDATE: I've never done a specific donation drive for specific music. Though this makes perfect sense to do I have relied on the goodwill of people to donate the actual CDs as the small amount of donations coming in are used to perpetuate the site. Saying that, MACCA Radio, The Voice of The Beatles will be shortly adding a new program block entitled "Beatles Originals - Remastered", it will be a four hour block playing in random songs from only the new digitally remastered catalog.

I also will be featuring one album a week during the Sunday night album feature. I'm beginning production on these program segments and should available soon.

I have the complete Remastered catalog. One of the perks of working in radio!

Our station is running a two hour special hosted by Randy Bachman this coming Monday from 5-7 P.M. EST.

http://www.coastalradio.ca/

Then I do the honour of following Randy from 7-11 P.M. EST. I'll be doing my regular programme ofcoarse.

Please tune in and stick around after the Bachman special because I'll be giving my forum friends a shout out!
I go back so far... I'm in front of me!

So Genuine...

How do the remasters sound? Did they get it right? Care to post a review?

They sound fine by me. A review of every album, song by song, would take so long.
By the time I finnish the review, they'll be released.

I would love for you all to tune in to The Beatles radio special hosted by Randy Bachman, this coming Monday at 5PM EST.

I want to tell her that I love her a lot, but I got to get a belly full of wine.
