I may buy it-

It just really sucks that they're blowing this opportunity--

They would be better off making it a 3 CD set (ala Dylan's Biograph) and REALLY include all worthy tracks- that would be enlightening and interesting.

I also wouldn't have a problem if it was SPECIFICALLY touted as "tracks selected in memory of George by his family and closest friends"- that would be cool. But not HITS.

very dissapionted on the songs that where picked.I think in my opion this is peraty much the same material that has already seen "Greatest" vey dissapointed...sory

It seems they've done this ass about face. Surely it would have made sense to have digitally remastered the "Extra Texture" & "Dark Horse" albums first, and then released this. Then they could have included "You", "Dark Horse" & "Ding Dong" instead of the live stuff. Only good thing about this set is the packaging (some great pics) and the inclusion of "I don't Want To Do It" & "Cheer Down".

I very much doubt there will be a second volume but there is a better chance of his remaining albums getting re-released at some point. Would be nice to have some remastered versions of "You" and "Dark Horse", among other things.
