It depends ENTIRELY on how they sound-

If they sound like crap- %-( (i.e. Memory Almost Full) - then, no, I won't -- if they are as good as the Rolling Stones remasters-- then, yes, it will be worth it.

If they're good- then I'll for sure get:
A Hard Days Night, With the Beatles, PPM and Beatles For Sale (in that order)
to have 'em in Stereo

I'd love to have Rubber Soul/Revolver/Pepper in mono, and Rubber Soul in the original stereo mix-- so we'll see

Since Revolver is my #1 LP of all time - I'd probably get that

MAYBE Abbey Road-- since it has the potential to be the best sounding-- we'll see how it sounds

Majorly disappointed they are using the 1987 mixes for Help and Rubber Soul

Just a warning to Amazon users. I "pre-ordered" the remastered Revolver (Sept 9th release date), and decided to bundle this with Abbey Road and Sgt. Pepper's. They sent me Abbey Road and Pepper in the mail a few days later (the old 1980's mixes), and I refused the order. I guess they are trying to unload the old CD's so be careful and READ the order before you submit. In the end, I'm just going to buy them from FYE.

me too. and honestly eddie, you are not buying the same thing. Hell, even the bootlegged remasters sound amazing--its like hearing the albums again for the first time. Well worth the cost!

Maybe I´m a little stupid, but why do someone wants to have the mono versions?

These are the way the albums were originally recorded and intended by The Beatles plus, for me, they sound generally punchier. And remember there are a number of differences on certain LP's such as The White Album & Sgt Pepper.

George Martin and The Beatles were actually present and spent all their time on the mono mixes-- they let the trainee engineers (albeit they were people like Alan Parsons and Geoff Emerick!) do the stereo mixes-- so when you hear We Can Work It Out -- its a piss poor stereo mix, but the mono mix is tight/punchy.

Also -- Pepper and the White Album many of the songs have effects, etc. that aren't there in stereo.

Just wonderin--how will these albums sell? If 14 are released on the same day, 9-9-09, could all 14 either be #1 on the charts (ie, Billboard) or hold the top 14 places on the charts? This is fascinating and could prove unprecedented in music history. Can't wait to get my grubby hands on the CDs!
