What's your first, what's your last album

Keeping strictly to the original Beatles albums, my first was the White Album and my last was Let It Be.

The reason Let It Be was last was because, in the mid-late 70's, I could not find it anywhere. I'm not sure if it was out of print, or what, but I checked numerous record stores at the time and never found it. Then suddenly, roundabout 1977, I think, there it was in the rack at Paperback Booksmith/Musicsmith in Revere, MA. They had several copies, all of which looked like they had been stored in a warehouse since 1970. I was ecstatic and didn't care too much that it did not appear to be "factory fresh". I had searched for so long, I almost instinctively tried to buy all of the copies they had, but quickly realized I could only afford one copy. Until then, I had heard every Beatles song EXCEPT Dig A Pony, Dig It, I've Got A Feeling, 909 and For You Blue. It was like the album had just come out in 1977. It was so cool to hear these tunes for the first time after knowing about them for a few years.

Does anyone else recall having trouble finding Let It Be at that time? Does anyone know why it was so scarce, or was it just a regional distribution issue in Massachusetts? I suspect that the Allen Klein involvement may be somehow relevent to the scarcity. Also, it suddenly appeared after the Beatles contract expired in '76. Was there a legal/contractual issue, or am I the only one who experienced this?

First LP: 20 Greatest Hits (american version, bought in 1989)
Last LP: I think it was Sgt Pepper mono (probably in 1991, after that I went on to CDs)

First CD: Please Please Me
Last CD: Love

My first album would be The Blue Album 1967-70 I was 12.My last Beatles album would be Love and now I'm 47.

Bought them all in order...first was "Introducing the Beatles" on VeeJay records...Led off with I Saw Her Standing There...also had Anna, Twist and Shout, Ask Me Why, etc. Have bought every one the exact day of release in United States. All of the original albums are framed on my living room wall...its a very cool conversation piece when guests come over.

Have all three Anthologies plus the "1" CD...Anyway, long story short...I have them all

Just the best group ever...EXCLAMATION POINT...PERIOD

i bought meet the beatles in 64 for 99 cents and the last was love when it came out. now own them all of course but on cd.

First was the US "Meet the Beatles" on vinyl. Last was "Love".

My first album (ironically) was the Rolling Stones "Out of Our Heads." 1st Beatles album was "Something New." Last album collected was the White Album.

First two albums I ever bought with my own money were "Naturally" by Three Dog Night, and "Let It Be". Bought on the same day at Ron Jon's surf shop in Cocoa Beach, FL. circa 1970
