Paul Fitness Tips #814
Oct 02, 2002 source - Sunday Tasmanian
This week's Sunday Tasmanian shares some of Sir Paul's secrets to good health and fitness. Sir Paul, who says he prefers to "grow old gracefully, as nature intended" attributes his incredible fitness to the Alexander Technique, "a revolutionary method of physical and emotional re-education".
According to Sir Paul, "It helps us re-learn how to use our bodies as nature intended." He says that he has also been keen on yoga ever since his pilgrimage to India to visit the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Sir Paul also credits his fitness to his vegetarian diet. Sir Paul says, "Even the dogs are vegetarians." He often plays the role of "cook of the house" specializing in a breakfast of scrambled eggs and hot muffins made from the eggs of his own free-range chickens from his farm at Peasemarsh near Rye in East Sussex. Sir Paul says he also helps to milk the cows and make the cheese. He says, "There is no slaughter on the farm. We raise sheep for wool; we make hay, grow cereal crops and masses of vegetables." The article claims that Sir Paul's favorite drink these days is cocoa. and that his idea of heaven is sitting in front of the fire with his feet up, drinking cocoa and eating chocolate biscuits.
This article really surprised me. I thought Paul was a VEGAN, not just a vegetarian. He eats eggs and drinks dairy. Didn't know that.
