Is it me, or is this practice a bit self-absorbed and fairly boring? I mean if somebody finds certain Macca songs to be mediocre, or something less, is this really a matter of keen interest to the general listening public? Are strident rejoinders going to change the author/critic's opinion? It's not as if we're all here because we're enthralled with every single note or lyric that Macca has "put forth". It's the cat's body of work that brings us all together...isn't this a bit like saying,"Man I love that Eugene O'Neill, but have you ever read that third line of the fifth chapter of "A Long Day's Journey into Night"? Bear in mind, I pose this argument as an utter and complete hypocrite. Smile Away!
