And then there's George playing "bass" on a six string electric guitar. LOL
It's actually a Fender 6 string bass(Known as a Fender VI), but I know what you mean Ram. It does look like a regular guitar doesn't it. I think this is the same bass John could bee seen playing on Let It Be and The Long And Winding Road from the Let It Be Film. I've also read somewhere that John Entwistle of The Who used to play one of these.

You keep worrying me with all these things - one day I will end up calling the lunatic asylum before you manage to fit in those two words at the end . . . [:0][;)][}:)]

Jet--Yes, I remember John playing the same bass in Let It Be! And whenever I see clips of the film, I think John his plucking the bass notes on a regular electric guitar. Now I know better! Thanks for the info, man!!

Well, by the way about John bass playing, he did it very bad on "The Long and Winding Road", and it seems that he did it deliberately because he was bored of any Beatles stuffs that time.

Peace.

I've heard the same - someone described his bass playing as "Satanic" . . .

Just imagine the high points of McCartney, along with Paul's contributions to Let It Be (which, apart from John's ATU, were all the best songs on that album) - would be fantastic.

In all seriousness....Liam if you have cd burning capabilities on your computer, you should just make your own "Let it Be McCartney" album. Create a tracklist combining your faves from LIB and Macca I. That way you could "create" your fantasy album that never was.
