1. Boudewijn de Groot
Great Dutch artist, especially good in bringing poem alive. Very beautiful voice.
Favourites: Avond, De Vondeling van Ameland, Verdronken Vlinder

2. Michael Jackson
This was my favourite artist for a long time, until I discovered Flaming Pie in 2000/2001 (I was 15 then). I had grown up with the music of Michael. I still like his music, but I don't listen often to it anymore.
Favourites: Smooth Criminal, Scream, They Don't Care About Us

3. Electric Light Orchestra
I especially like the classical instruments used in the songs. (only I like the songs where Paul used classical instruments much more)
Favourites: Tightrope, Believe Me Now, Shangri-La

4. Toontje Lager
A Dutch band from 1980-1984. Musically maybe not that spectulair. My father used to play this music in the car.
Favourites: Ja Verrek, Het doet pijn, Alle dagen dorst

5. Golden Earring
Another Dutch band (from Den Haag), but with international succes. I love Back Home.
Favourites: Back Home, Radar Love, Quiet eyes

Bob Dylan, Matthew Sweet, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Paul Simon/ Simon and Garfunkel, Vanessa Carlton. Not a comprehensive list, but these are the ones floating near the top right now.

If taken purely on the number of plays showing in my Last.fm profile, excluding the top 2 (The Beatles then Macca), my top 5 for the 6 year period it covers are-

1 Bob Dylan
2 U2
3 Oasis
4 Paul Weller (as a solo artist. The Jam are not far behind)
5 R.E.M.

I have to say that The Beach Boys and Kate Bush are next just because I love them so much I don't want to ignore them!

Taken just over the last 12 months plays (leaving out anyone already mentioned), it's-

1 The Bluetones
2 Pink Floyd
3 Bruce Springsteen
4 Graham Coxon (Guitarist from Blur)
5 PJ Harvey

r.e.m.

what the heck..can't let...
joe bonnamassa
pink floyd
the white stripes (and, just fer gits 'n shiggles: i'll toss in all jacks side projects, as they are all that good and all have his heavy artistic stamp all over 'em - and since it appears the stripes are... done )
sting
or U2 off without very honorable mentions

and a quick nod to the chieftains..

and, for me, for the record...that macca guy would be in the top 5...if the rules weren't so vague
