Would it help if you had a fee based log in to listen and then a monthly charge? People could put it on pay-pal, or a credit card? Man I'd be so lost at work if I could not listen. Something to consider. People who really want to listen, will pay!

Yes, that is what exactly the first alternative will be if we do not get a regular level of monthly volunteer donations. So only those who pay a minimum monthly subscription will get to listen. I would have to make changes in streaming as where we are streaming from does not provide that pay per listen service. It will be more costly to me then it currently is. I do not want to move where we are streaming now as I am very happy with the quality of service at this time.

I am very encouraged with the amount so far for November. As of a few minutes ago, at 35% of our goal of $500.

Just want to add my feelings on this. Though I have contributed in the past and recently sent in a donation, I would not like or be in favor of a "Monthly Fee" pay basis. I do not use Pay Pal and I would certainly never use a credit card. Please keep in mind, that this is just my view on this.

Love this site and enjoy participating in some of the posted items. But if it became manditory to pay every month???????.........I would be more in favor of paying something every 3 or 6 months. But not monthly. Too many things are becoming very dicey in the United States and I fear that financial matters with the Economy are going to get worse before they get better. Prices for everything are going up. Gas may be coming down at the moment, but it too will rise once again. Utilities going up, food, clothes, perscriptions and regular monthly needs will seriously cut into many household budgets.

If people are forced to do something or decide between one thing or another, somehow, somwhere........Something goes and someone loses. Just putting out a personal word of caution.

But for now....................Let the music play and lets enjoy the moment. Peace and Love to all, as we head into the Holiday Season...................

I hear you and thank you for helping out. The pay per listen will be a last resort and would be very affordable and yes, people will be allowed to pay so many months in advance if they wish. I would not worry too much about it yet. Your opinion is valued, thank you for commenting.

What is the total visitors per month and the total unique visitors per month?

I haven't bothered monitoring stats monthly but here is some facts. During 2004 Summer Tour peaked out at 6.5 million hits then stopped gathering. Visits hits vary depending a lot on Paul, touring they go up dramatically but now they are at a slow pace, usually for this time of year. There is a website rating site called Alexa Traffic ratings that rate all websites on the web sorted by traffic. Recent years we have been ranked consistently in the top 100,000 websites based on traffic. Of course there are millions of websites. Here is there definition of how they rank.

The traffic rank is based on three months of aggregated historical traffic data from millions of Alexa Toolbar users and data obtained from other, diverse traffic data sources, and is a combined measure of page views and users (reach). As a first step, Alexa computes the reach and number of page views for all sites on the Web on a daily basis. The main Alexa traffic rank is based on a value derived from these two quantities averaged over time (so that the rank of a site reflects both the number of users who visit that site as well as the number of pages on the site viewed by those users). The three-month change is determined by comparing the site's current rank with its rank from three months ago. For example, on July 1, the three-month change would show the difference between the rank based on traffic during the first quarter of the year and the rank based on traffic during the second quarter.

MACCA-Central.com is currently rated #329,899 amongst all site on the internet. This current 3 month period shows traffic down 45% from the previous 3 months and the rating went down ranking by 124,070. The lower the number the higher the rank.I do not incorporate any Alexa toolbars so they data they get on MACCA Central is from many other traffic data sources. I put together some ranks of other websites for comparison of the current 3 month period below. MACCA Central has more traffic than either John Lennon's or George Harrsion's official sites.
