Not so much discovered, but REdiscovered - THE KINKS
I've always been a Kinks fan, but never really ventured far beyond their best known hits.
I've been getting into some of their lesser known material lately, and they just blow me away.
Ray Davies is a genius.
"Village Green Preservation Society" is perhaps the most overlooked classic album in history.
Other great Kinks albums I've been discovering, "Arthur - Or the Decline and Fall of the British Empire"(I'd only ever known the song 'Victoria' until now) and "Muswell Hillbillies".
My Kinks awakening is akin to someone who's always loved 'I Want To Hold Your Hand' and 'Hey Jude', but has never heard the 'Revolver' album except maybe for the songs 'Eleanor Rigby' and 'Yellow Submarine'.
