This is a cool idea BTW.
Opening thought on London Town: a massive departure from what he'd previously done. He'd just toured the world with a huge rock show and then records synthy stuff in a boat in the Virgin Islands! And Jimmy and Joe are on most of the album...weird.
But, it's a real grower. A few duff tracks aside (Children Children, Name And Address), it's pretty cool. I'm Carrying is a great lost Wings classic (why it's not on Wingspan I don't know - he probably forgot about it), and ...Bring You Down complements it perfectly at the end of the record.
I've a question to those around in the 70s - how was it generally recieved? Wings' profile (esp in America) must've been massive and then...London Town.
And what's wrong with that?
