Who is your fsvourite guitarist?

Mine are Ritchie Balckmore and Jimi Hendrix

David Gilmour is my clear cut favorite, Pete Townsend would be second, I think he's a little underated as a guitarist.

Too many to name...but off the top of my head, and from the bottom of my heart...George Harrison, John Lennon & Paul McCartney (That "The Beatles" guitar collective), Richard Thompson, & Tom Verlaine and Richard Lloyd of Television, Neil Young, Robbie Robertson. i like nearly all of the guitarists named a lot.

if if had to pick a fave...stevie ray vaughan was hendrix reincarnated, with a shot of the blues unfused quite nicely. saw him live several dozen times...was even there the night of his last performance when he was killed in a helecoptor accident.

clapton's body of work, with derek and his dominoes standing out pretty well above all else he did.

santana was...still is great. but he appears with too many newbies to appear relevent.

gary moore is still the best guitarist on the planet nearly no one has ever heard of.

mark knopfler's finger picking is underrated, too

david gilmore and s l o w style of play can stretch a note as well as anyone.
