Just ordered tickets to see Ringo and the All Starrs

Never mind..found the list..is it me or are most of the shows at casinos? is going after the walker brigade...I can see it now, I'm going to fighting with a old lady on oxygen smoking a cigarette and in a wheelchair for a place in line...

Yep, that's where all of the older groups play now. Ringo will be two day shy of 68 years old when we see him...The crowd will range in age from 10 to 80...I saw him three years ago and sat next to a little girl, her mother, her mother and her mother.

If you've never seen one of Ringo's All Starr shows...I highly recommend it.

Seen him six times...kinda bummed it's basically the same linupe from last time..but I will be taking my kids also..they are 9 and 6 and love the Beatles....

To out of towers: Beware of the July 22nd show in Lemoore, CA. It's an outdoor venue with no shade. It'll be during the summer heat season and the temperature will be anywhere from 95-105 degrees. I live about 45 minutes from there and am very familiar with the weather. I saw Steve Miller there a few years ago during the summer and there was a lot of complaining by concertgoers about the heat.

I know a lot of you like to travel and attend multiple concerts of a tour so I wanted to explain the weather situation to fellow fans. I'm not trying to discourage anybody from going. I still plan to go.

On a side note, I don't know how Lemoore wound up on the tour schedule. The population is about 25,000 and it's 3 hours from San Francisco & 3 hours from Los Angeles. I guess the casino had the money to pay the appearance fee. That town should be honored to have Ringo & company playing there. I'm excited myself.

Saw ringo 7yrs ago .He puts on a real good show i recommend this show to all beatle fans.Any chance you get to see a real beatle preform jump at the oppportunity.You will thank yourself after the show.

I briefly reconsidered going recently when discussing it with a dear old friend who's never seen any of The Beatles. He agreed that to do whatever it takes, ticket price & road trip wise, to see Macca if/when he tours this year. "Mull of Kintyre" in Toronto anyone? Anywho, it was the prices in Niagara Falls (nearest to us who live a hour or so from Rochester NY & a bit more from Buffalo NY) that knocked us out of the running. Ouch. I'm sure it'll be a great venue to see him in though, and well worth it. If I hadn't seen him before, I'd do it. I'd also pay that price, if the lineup was better. I think I'll have to swallow hard, and just go, regardless of the lineup, and/or ticket prices, and/or miles of driving involved, on his, Cosmos still willing, next All-Starr tour. At the end of grad school I just can't manage it this time around. Anyways, everyone have fun, and we'll all be expecting good reports back from you folks afterwards!! Blessings!
