album for album - - song for song...

it'd have to be U2

a few years ago, REM would've given them a good run for the $$...but, now..not so much

Five way tie for me...The Kinks, The Who, Jethro Tull, The Moody Blues and ELO...Have seen all of these except The Kinks and they are all just great...will be seeing The Moody Blues on Easter Sunday (3/23/08) at the Beau Rivage in Biloxi, MS for the 8th time. Yeah, I like 'em

Of course, being from The South (USA), I'd be properly ridiculed if I didn't mention Lynyrd Skynyrd or The Allman Brothers...both great live acts.

I've made this statement many many times...Its The Beatles in first place by an unsurmountable margin and everyone else is gonna have to fight for second place...it really just depends on my feelings at the moment...but there's never a time my feelings couldn't stand a little John, Paul, George and Ringo...Never !

I have to say that REM is boring. I think their songs are so similar

Agree with your view on REM Ed, in fact I used to be a huge fan up to the mid 90's. Since then they've released the same album again & again.

Anyway I would have to say The Beatles are so far out in front of the rest of the field, that there's a whole bunch of 'em in second place...Queen, ELO, Pink Floyd, Oasis...and as I'm a huge 60's fanatic (just check out the hairstyle folks) I would also have to put Kinks and The Small Faces in there as well and what about that great little 70's band......Wings? :)
Man I could smell your breath a mile away.
