What do you think? Paul, John and now Ringo all have had their own greatest hits albums released in recent years complete with remastered tracks. Why hasn't this happened yet for George? As far as I know he only got two greatest hits compilations released that were split up between the 70's and 80's. There is still some quality George material that is out of print such as songs like "Cheer Down" and "Dark Horse" that could use a proper remastering. And although it is less likely to happen, they could also possibly use this as an opportunity to remix some of those Spector-drenched tracks off of All Things Must Pass (George himself considered doing this for that album's re-release).
The compilation could cover everything from his first solo LP all the way up to Brainwashed. And they could probably throw some bonus tracks in there as well such as "Horse To The Water" (his final recorded song) and maybe some unreleased stuff. Supposedly George said in one of his final interviews that he had recorded at least two albums' worth of material. Perhaps if this is true something could be salvaged from those recordings?
So what would your tracklisting be?
