The Videos
Most of the excluded videos i.e. 'Mary had...', are not good and Paul was very wise not to include them. Over so much time not everything can be great and Paul has chosen very wisely what videos to present. The fact that he hasn't included all his video promos show that he has become more discerning. Like Paul, we only want the good stuff being put out. By the way a great song does not neccesarily entail a great video.
The Concerts
Furthermore, if Paul was to have included the entirity of the concerts then two possibilities would have arisen - either a 5 to 6 more expensive disc set (which would turn many non-hard core buyers off), or a much poorer quality 3 dsic set (you can only squeeze so much on a dsic without lossing considerable quality, both visual and audio).
Basically we get a great taste of these live shows and if Paul wants to release them indvidually later on, then we can buy them in their entirity in great recorded quality.
One reviwer I read said he found it too tiresome to sit through the entire package and then complained that not enough was included. I think Paul has done a brilliant job getting the balance right. I for one applaude his choices.
