Peter and Gordon

Anyone like this duo with hits such as "A World Without Love", and "Lady Godiva". Your thoughs on this due? I think there pretty good. A good influence under the Everly Brothers.

I like them. I recently bought a 10 song best of (Peter and Gordon Greatest Hits). It's only 10 songs, but that's what makes it quite enjoyable to listen to! Plus, it has the songs that really matters (if you know what i mean... ). Here's the tracklist:

I must admit i bought the same album because i didn't really know them but they had lennon /mccartney songs on it which i never heard.Would have liked to hear paul sing those songs with or without the beatles.Not bad music best 6 bucks i spent in a while.

They're OK but generally I find their music a little middle of the road although they did have a couple of good singles (A World Without Love & Woman) and oh yeah! the one with the glasses had a great looking sister!

I'd be interested to hear remastered re-releases of their original albums rather than just the greatest hits compilations, they had a better-than-average vocal harmony blend.

I'm sure they sound dated to a younger lot. But back in the day, anything British that came in on the wave had cred. They do have a profound Buddy Holly influence, and that can never be too bad.
