The Very Best Of Ringo Starr

I do not like the overall track selection.

Laz's Version of the very best of Ringo Starr: "For Love"
With more of a focus on his more-recent success in the studio with collaborators.
I think my selection shows off his drumming style much better than Photograph Very Best Of too.

very best of Ringo Starr: "I'm The Greatest"(humourous title)

1. What... In The World
2. For Love
3. Night And Day
4. Bye Bye Blackbird
5. Instant Amnesia
6. Back Off Boogaloo
7. I'm The Greatest
8. Eye To Eye
9. It Don't Come Easy
10. Gone Are The Days
11. Choose Love
12. One
13. Love Is

edit1: Just listened to the whole thing, sounds great!
A great Best-Of Ringo with a focus on the recent-times.

Actually the title "I'm The Greatest" is an excellent title for a best of, however I would have included something from Time Takes Time and you can't be serious about "Bye Bye Blackbird" surely!

I love Bye Bye Blackbird sung by Ringo and arranged by Maurice Gibb. I love the whole Sentimental Journey album too.

I don't like the idea of a DVD-AUDIO formated Ringo disc. This means it won't be backwards compatible in CD players.
Which will suck.

I should be in SACD hybrid, which has the capacity for 5.1/hybrid stereo/Regular CD Audio tracks all on one disc.
And is backwards compatible with all regular cd players.
And it's not like the SACD players are that expensive now. I think my dad got a DVD/SACD/VCD/MP3-CD/CD/whatever player for under $300
about a year or two ago...
Surely they're cheaper now...

This album is just way too heavily weighted on the old stuff. I would have loved to have seen Capitol pick up the old Ringo catalog, and do this as a true retrospective 2 CD set. Then it might have turned folks onto the albums from Time Takes Time onwards, and they then would've been available as new Capitol re-releases. Or at least consider a volume II eventaully. Blessings!
Om Namah Shivaya !!!!
