What do the rest of you make of this album? I don't rate it as anything special, some of it seems like George is still stuck in the psychedelic era . . . tracks 1,3,5,7 all right, the rest, a bit iffy.

Liam - I think the album cover is a bit psychedelic, and look to George's pictures, he was in a hippy way... just look at his hair!!!LOL[:D]

Peace.

On "DH", George's voice sounds unusually on "Dark Horse", "Simply Shady" and "So Sad", so much as Steve called that album as Dark "HOARSE" for his voice...LOL[:D] I think that album is just OK, not so great...

Peace.

Yes, NITO. I said that. It's a bad album, IMHO.

There's certainly a few tracks that I don't like at all, and I don't think there's anything I'd give more than 7/10, which for someone of George's standard, is disappointing [:(]

I like Ding Dong, Ding Dong, Dark Horse, Simply Shady, Maya Love, Hari's On Tour... I think George could do much better than that work, that's not the best or the worst of his works, that's on average to me...

Peace.

Far East Man is pretty good too but Bye Bye Love is not so good, also It is He has a very repetitive chorus which does get annoying... if the chorus wasn't so annoying it wouldn't be a bad song... this album could have been so much better if George had spent abit more time with it.

The thing that really kills it besides sub-standard material, is his voice on this album. Dark Hoarse would have been a better title, lol.

Oh yes, the Dark "Hoarse"...LOL[:D]
But do ya know a thing, man?? I think that's interesting how George sang DH... He changed his voice intonation like he never did before and I thought that resulted very interesting on that song... tasted different, d'ya understand??

Peace.
