I saw the first All-Starr Band tour, and it was really great fun...the list of great folks he's worked with is jaw dropping, but...and it is a GIANT BUT...the last few tours have been, in my humble opinion, just embarrassingly awful lineups. I pray that he is able to gather some great again, and not go out in such pathetic fashion as the last couple. Going from Levon Helm, Rick Danko, Dave Edmunds, Tood Rundgren, Ian Hunter, Joe Walsh, John Entwhistle, Clarence Clemons, Dr. John, Nils Lofgren, Billy Preston, Greg Lake, Jack Bruce, Gary Brooker etc., etc. to recent outings with John Waite, Richard Marx, Colin Hay, Billy Squire. Even the best members (Paul Carrack, Rod Argent & Edgar Winter, maybe Shelia E. too) would have been at the bottom of the bill in past years...talk about a artistic nose dive!!! What ahappened?!? Let's just hope he could back over the old list, make some phone calls and get together something decent for a change. The last one I thought was a good lineup was 2001. Maybe Dave Stewart will be helpful in this manner? I wish he'd just go out with The Roundheads, but who knows where exactly things are with Mark Hudson now...not bad certainly, but how good- given recent events...Blessings!!
Om Namah Shivaya !!!!
