You're not missing out then. Revolution 9 is pointless. It was probably written like that by Yoko . . .

Right Liam, Rev 9 is most of Yoko's work, that she did with John...
Especially Paul didn't want to put that track in the album, but John insisted for being his love's work, so...Paul accepted a little annoyed.

Peace.

Being a freak as I am, I do listen it through whenever I feel like playing the entire White Album. And I can even say I *know* the 'song' by now. It's not that pointless, some parts are ... ermm... interesting. Well, if it would have been anyone other than the Beatles, I'd have dismissed it immediately. And even though I own Two Virgins, I never listened to it more than the first minute, right after I bought it.

Agreed on all points brains...I, too, know the parts of R#9 by now---I thought it was cool when it came out (of course, i was 13), and I love all of the backwards stuff. Two Vigins....my needle never did touch vinyl. I got it from a record distributor in 1972--knew what was on it, and I was curious about the cover until I saw it. YIKES!!!

What makes me laugh about Revolution 9 is the monotonous voice saying over and over number nine....number nine....number nine....
