Apparently she's still recording, but doesn't like to be in the limelight. Her official website (http://www.maryhopkin.co.uk/) refers to the piece about her on Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Hopkin) so it must be fairly accurate.

I have no idea what happened to her, but "Those were the Days" is a timeless classic!! =D
