Who is your favourite member of the Rolling Stones?

Ronnie Wood - he's by far the best-looking And, in a different sense, Charlie Watts because he managed to beat cancer and is still going strong. Chapeau bas!!

My favourite Wings is quite easy - the 1976 line-up, which was as close to perfect as you could get. Macca and "his Lin" goes without saying; Denny Laine was by far his most important partner, was versatile, had some personality and even did some comic numbers on stage, hardly any need to mention him either. And Jimmy was a brilliant guitarist and in his way quite likeable (even if his alcohol and drugs excesses spoilt a lot for him and those around him). Joe seemed to me to be a good drummer (I have to choose my words with caution because I admit I'm not exactly an expert) - he seemed to drum his guts out the same way Abe does these days, and he even had a decent voice. And the band seemed to really get on well on stage. Of course we don't know what exactly went on behind the scenes, but at least it seemed genuine.
