That's ZAK. He's great. period.

There's a DVD of a november 2001 concert of the WHO w/ him, Roger, the late John on bass and of course Pete / with lots of guest stars.

He's currently drumming for OASIS.

All proceeds going to charity.

Nice to know they're not doing it for the money. :)

Ringo's son is more of a "power drummer" than his dad; also Zak's style emulates RIngo's fave drummer: Keith Moon. LOts of fills and relentless style, with power !
I think Zak would be ideal for the ZEP's !

I've never heard that before, Moonie was Ringo's favorite. Is that true?

I've read in Moon's bio that he's a Godfather to one of Ringo's sons and was a constant visitor to Ringo's house in the 70's. Ringo admired him a lot as a drummer. I must've read somewhere (perhaps in Ringo's bio - up to the early 90's) that Moon was Ringo's fave guy to hit the skins and just ROCK things up !!

Keith Moon was around Zak alot when he was young and taught him alot. Keith even gave him a drum kit.

Ringo with LZ? Never.

Ringo hates drum rolls, solos, anything fancy. He would change the sound of their music. Ringo also gets fatique easier than other drummers who are larger than him. It's a natural fact of physics. It has been said that the length of his arms has added to his style and a man with shorter arms drums does drum differently than a larger man. It effects the timing and strength.

Listen to any live version of "I wanna be your man" by the Beatles and tell me Ringo wasn't a great drummer. What an interesting sense of timing. He's no Bonham but his son Zak is no Keith Moon, but hes with the Who. People often overlook Ringo's tremendous talent as a percussionist.
And if I said I really knew you well what would your answer be?

I agree completely !

You know, to compare John Bonham to Ringo is like comparing apples and oranges - I like them both a lot !

Each one w/ his style and strong points !
