If John had not died, I think that the Beatles would probably have gotten back together for at least one tour with a reunion at Live Aid being the catalyst. I always wondered if it had happened, what the set list would have been. My fantasy set list is below. The guidelines I set for myself were 30 songs (which would make about a 2+ hour show) and no solo stuff. I also wonder if the process of putting a set list together would have been easy or full of wrangling and negotiation for them. Anyway here it is:
1. Sgt. Pepper's
2. With a little help from my friends
3. I want to hold your hand
4. We can work it out
5. If I needed someone
6. Revolution
7. Get Back
(Acoustic set start)
8. Norwegian Wood
9. Something
10. Yesterday
11. If I fell
(Acoustic end)
12. Love Me Do
13. Drive My Car
14. Yellow Submarine
15. Lucy in the Sky
16. While my Guitar gently weeps
17. Day Tripper
