Summer is coming soon, at least we hope so. The tour of Italy is taking place at the moment. In July Tour de France is starting, this time without Lance Armstrong. Do you think he was doped during his years at the top??

I think he was clean. The French media just really hate him, can't stand an American being so far ahead at their national sport. I've read his book and his story is phenomenal, have a lot of time for old Lance

I have no idea...I'd like to think so.. considering what trials and tribulation he underwent. For all that pride and glory to be snuffed out by "roids"...sad really.

Well he was cleared, so that's good news. And it is France we are talking about.

Ok, tell me I'm nuts if I'm wrong about this....but do any of you think it's a little weird to train 11 months a year, for entering just one race? I mean it's Tour de France and that's it for this guy right? It's like Tiger Woods training all year and just playing the Masters...nothing else. Am I wrong?

I think Lance was clean and the French media couldn't stand an American beating them and to do it as many times in a row as he did just added fuel to the fire.

I don´t think Lance Armstrong was clean. The last week a lot of riders has admitted the use of EPO and other subtances

Tell me which rider was/is clean? I don´t think any rider who is at the top 10 in Tour de France is clean.

Nope, probably nobody of the top has been clean over the years...

Funny that much Americans are so keen to blaim the French media; I wish they would look with the same critical eyes at their own media, and then I am talking much more than only some wheeler sports...
