Whole world tour

Postby dsnito » Tue Jun 11, 2002 10:23 am

We all know that Paul made several tours all over the world, and I think that the biggest crowd present in his shows was here in Brazil, on Maracana Stadium(1990) that crowded by 184000 of people. Am I mistaken?
Peace.

I believe you're right. It was even in the Guinness Book of World Records as the "Largest Crowd Ever" or something like that. I thought I read that the record was eventually broken, but I could be wrong. I think it might still stand.

It sounds right - somebody check their liner notes on Tripping The Live Fantastic - I'll do the same when I have a minute.

Yes it still is the record. Its the largest crowd (Paying) for a single event/performer.

I'm trying to imagine a crowd that big here in an arena . . . nope - can't do it. Piddly little country . . . all this "size matters" malarchy . . . grumble, grumble . . .

I meant to say: Nota 10(Mark 10), Maravilhoso(Wonderful), Fantástico(less "o" and "a"'s accent...IT's easy!), Maracanã balançou(Maracanã rocked)... not so difficult, man!![;)]

Peace.
