His first "greatest hits" collection. It was nice to get "Karma", "Power" and "Cold Turkey" on an album, but it was short on "hits", for sure. Compare it to Pual's first collection..Wings Greatest"...no comparison, really.

"Shaved" Fish surely didn't refer to Yoko's "hair" on "Two Virgins"...LOL[}:)][:D]
Seriously now, yeah you're right for mentioned "IK!", "PTTP" and "Turkey" this last one made me impressed, 'cos I didn't hear that yet till that time(I was 13 or 14), the thing about heroin, its effects to a person, and John gasping and suffering for drug abstinence on the song, really impressed me!! I think that was a good message to me, 'cos I got much more fear of the drugs since then, and ever stayed away from those!!

Peace.

Two reasons why I like this album. First, Instant Karma. Second, the album cover.

Great album cover....alot to look at.

I prefer that they had put the full length version of "Give Peace A Chance".

I noticed that the bass on "Mind Games" had a better-fully sound than the version released on MG LP. You can really hear when the song comes out if the first middle 16th.

I'll have to check out that bass, Dakota. And I agree about GPAC...

Just remembered that this was my first John solo album bought that's why I really like it. Have to check the bass part on MG also as mentioned by Dakota.
