I love 1/2 the songs on this album.

Starting Over was a great first single..
Clean Up Time is very funky
I'm Losing You is a very good mid tempo rocker
Beautiful boy is well, umm...beautiful.
Watching The Wheels---great autbiographic tale
Woman--Very Beatlesque--one of his best post-beatles vocals
Dear Yoko---only one that i don't like LOL

Too bad i have to skip every other song.[}:)]

I'm Losing You is better on Wonsaponatime.
I actually do like Dear Yoko. It's just the subject that I'm not too fond of.

Agree, Brains. Not too fond of the subject of the song, but I do like it. Far from Lennon's best, but I think it's rather catchy. Starting Over is a song I never tire of. I LOVE it.

I probably get it confused with that classic, "Oh Yoko" LOL. I guess the subject gets to me and clouds my mind. It's not that bad.

I'm not a big Yoko fan but,I must admit that "Kiss Kiss Kiss" is sort of a cool song. My friends who listened to new wave music stations in the early 80's say they heard the song played on radio. When I was one day playing DF at my house they all said that they'd heard the song before.....I was amazed to hear that.

Also, "I'm Your Angel" is a pretty good song. However, it would be a better song if it hadn't been sung by a woman with a heavy japanese accent....lol

I'm gonna be sick, Dakota. LOL. Yoko always fancied herself "new wave", which was laughable to me. To each his own, I guess. Maybe if someone had else had performed it. But I doubt it [:D]

This was really a solo album if Yoko did not insist only in including herself. (The lives of J. Lennon by Albert Goldman) That explains also why the other half of Lennon's songs appeared in the Milk and Honey album. I always get sad everytime I listen to this album because it shows John could have produced more good songs and albums. A reunion could have also happened, who knows? Starting Over and Watching the Wheels stand out in this album.
