Not one of us, I think, would suggest that solo Paul, or even the Beatles for that matter, are squeaky clean perfect. Hindsight allows us to look back and always say...gee, I would have changed that.

There are at least 10 or more songs in the Beatles catalogue i would call Perfect.

I didn't suggest the Beatles didn't write perfect songs. I said the band as a whole weren't perfect. No one is infallable. However, don't short change my guys, the Beatles have many more than just 10 perfect songs.
I want to tell her that I love her a lot, but I got to get a belly full of wine.

IMO Paul should make a Rocker album next with the sparkling fun of London Town/Venus & Mars combined with the outright rock of Back To The Egg.

And he should call this album "Super Paul" with a huge "P" on his shirt like Superman, with a pic of him flying through the Air with a Hofner Bass...

Now THAT would be cool!

p.s: I'm starting to believe more and more that it's a complete myth that Paul never produced music ever again as good as he did when he was in the Beatles...

Long live Super-Paul!

SUPER-Paul?
I was with you up until the big S on his chest. Name any other artist (who cares about being taken seriously) who would allow an album cover to be produced that has them "leaping tall buildings in a single bound". And while we all believe Paul is a good guy, I don't think anyone wants to see an album cover with Paul in Vatican City wearing the Pope's hat, either.

....Or dressed in gleaming white robe, with golden hems, playing the Hofner-while walking on water.
