Y'know, I didn't have Yesterday anywhere in my list. But I think there's a reason for that. That song is a part of the air we breathe, it no longer belongs to Paul, it belongs to everyone. It's one of those instantly recognisable songs, it floats into the ether out there. You're right, probably not only one of Paul's best songs, but one of the best songs ever. It's a masterclass in songwriting.
Bluebird, aha yes Mistress and Maid is at #97, it's a top album track alright. Not sure if it would've done well as a single, but is an excellent Paul-Elvis collaboration.
