Bluebird, Rick, great lists, I could certainly live with those piped in with NO problem.

I am not being goofy here (Not intentionally), but my list could be excatly the same or pretty darn close BUT with one exception - I would need to put "Spinning On An Axis" on it.

I know people here don't like that song, but IF you like it, chime in, here. If not, no need to mention it, (old news) LOL 8)
"Step on the gas and wipe that tear away,
One sweet dream came true today!"

errrrrrrrrrrrrr I dont think I could do a list.Way to hard and I think it would always change but I might try this although may take me a couple of days
Paul McCartney- 'I’d like people to think I was… sensational. And that I was a damn good (bass) player and that I was a damn good singer and a damn good writer, and I’d like them to wrap that all up in a little ball and swallow it.'

Y'know, I didn't have Yesterday anywhere in my list. But I think there's a reason for that. That song is a part of the air we breathe, it no longer belongs to Paul, it belongs to everyone. It's one of those instantly recognisable songs, it floats into the ether out there. You're right, probably not only one of Paul's best songs, but one of the best songs ever. It's a masterclass in songwriting.

Bluebird, aha yes Mistress and Maid is at #97, it's a top album track alright. Not sure if it would've done well as a single, but is an excellent Paul-Elvis collaboration.
I needed comfort of love just to get me some piece of mind.. wo-oh

I 90% agree here. But Paul wrote it, so i gotta give credit where credit is due. BTW: this list is not in any particular order of importance or greatness, it was just that i had to number them so i could make sure i had 50 more easily.

-- Most might scoff at the fact songs like Blackbird aren't here, but IMO there are some songs in his solo-career that ursurped the original that was done in the same style. i.e: Jenny Wren.
That is why Blackbird is not present, there is a "better" song in that kind of style by Paul now. I applaud his efforts to be able to out-do a reasonable portion of what he created in/with the Beatles.

I´ve tried to make a top 100 list, but it is too hard. There are too many good songs.

My top three:

Maybe I´m Amazed
I Saw Her Standing There
Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End
Now junior behave yourself

Do this to help, limit the amountt of Paul songs on the list that are in a similar style by only including the ones that you would rate higher than the other(you like more)(or is just plain superior)

Example: Through Our LOve VS Only Love Remains, it's very clear from the lyrics that OLR trounces TOL lyrically.

Hpe this helps
