The Beatles "Wannabe" groups

There are several groups that tried(or try)to pretend to be The Beatles, or do something similar to them. Groups like Oasis(the most famous), Monkees, Jellyfish, Radiohead, Blur!, Klaatu(Canadian), Marmalade, Badfinger(Apple's son), Liverpool Express, etc.
Do you guys think that they sound like something ofThe Beatles??

I always thought Radiohead sounded more like Pink Floyd. They're still a great group though.

The Rolling Stones.
I remember back in the old days that everything the Beatles did, the Stones copied.
Look at the album covers and songs like:
Aftermath(UK) is just like With the Beatles
Between the Buttons- Beatles For Sale
Their Satanic Majesty's Request- Pepper
Let It Bleed- Let It Be
Ruby Tuesday- Eleanor Rigby
We Love You- All You Need Is Love
I found it embaressing how they always copied the Beatles. That's one good thing that happened when the Beatles broke up- the Stones developed their own bluesy unique style.

"Their Satanic Majesty's Request" itself says everything about their "copies".

How 'bout "As Tears Go By" and "Yesterday"......Both being the first songs that had orchestra backing.

I always thought Cheap Trick resembled the Beatles alot in melody and chord progression style. The only differences being that like the Beatles, Cheap Trick didn't have any blues or motown influence in their music. Also, Cheap Trick tended to use power chords as apposed to the Beatles using (especially in the pre '66 era) open chords, generally speaking.

Nito, didn't you forget Electric Light Orchestra? I think this band has a lot of Beatles influence in it too.

Yeah, ELO was a Beatle-follower group, Jeff Lynne ever has been colaborated with George, Ringo and Paul, but I think they had their own style.
