It would be easier to make a comparison Steve-0, if the stupid heads at EMI would REMASTER THE CATALOGUE !

Naked does SOUND just brilliant though.

Good point....maybe they all would sound like the punched-up "1" offerings. I was shocked the other night when I had my ipod on and had forgotten that I had just recently added "1". I was playing A-Z beatles and was SHOCKED at how good the remastered version of AHDN sounded when played back to back with the original (since I had some dupicates, obviously).

I was wondering if John and George was alive that the album would have been released?? I think Paul was the one who wanted this album out.

I think it´s obviously that it was Pauls idea it all. He was tired of Phil Spectors sound on TLAWR and the fill-tracks Dig it and maggie mae. But maybe he talked a little about with others about during their anthology work!?.

Let It Be Naked i still believe is an embarrassment to the Beatles catalogue.

I will never accept it as a true Beatles record. It feels far too "treated". in fact i'd go so far to say it feels FAR more(say a million times) "treated" than the original LIB.

An embarassment to be sure.

I'd convinced a friend to buy it years ago, and wound up apologising to him whenever the issue was brought-up.
