Beatle Paul's voice improvement

Do you guys think that on early Beatles career, Paul's voice was quite different until circa 1965 when his vocal technique modified and improved his voice?? I can cleary notice that since "Yesterday" his vocal "timbre" well improved, and that turned evident on songs like "Penny Lane" in 1967, and got much better and better along the years.

definitely an improvement. But just listen to Long Tall Sally. That was a clear sign of things to come.

By the way, I was pleasantly surprised by Mac's vocals on Run Devil Run and Driving Rain. He's still got it. That primal scream on Rinse The Raindrops blows me away every time I hear it.

In the early days, his voice was often insecure. Listen to Love Me Do, when John has to play the harmonica Paul has to sing lead. He sounds kinda nervous.

Yes he does, brains. And he has said as much. Apparently, John was used to singing that part and george Martin said: John needs to play the harmonica bit right there-Paul--you'll have to sing that part. Like right before they recorded it. He WAS a bit petrified.

Oh..and by the way. On the first leg of the Driving Rain tour, his voice sounded better and stronger than ever. High notes were hit nearly perfectly--it was amazing......(At least in Cleveland [:D])

It is audible that he's not 23 anymore though. His voice isn't as strong and clear as it was around 1965/66. But he ages with grace, and he's never out of key.
