Hmmm, off the top of my head:

"Cry Wolf" and "Over You" by Laura Branigan
"It's Over" by Level 42
"Alone Again" by Dokken
"Since You're Gone" by The Cars
"If You Leave Me Now" and "Hard Habit To Break" by Chicago
"Call Me" by Dennis DeYoung
"Easy" by Faith No More (originally performed by The Commodores)
"That Was Yesterday" and "Heart Turns To Stone" by Foreigner
"Throwing It All Away" by Genesis
"She's Gone" by Hall & Oates
"I'll Be Alright Without You" by Journey
"Without You" by Motley Crue (not really sure if this is a break up song, because I haven't heard it that much or paid attention to the lyrics)
"Lying" by Peter Frampton
"Every Rose Has Its Thorn" by Poison (c'mon, who doesn't like this song?)
"Purple Rain" by Prince
"Love Of My Life" by Queen
"Glad To See You Go" by The Ramones (I haven't even heard this one, but it's probably good, and it must be a break up song of some sort)
"I See You In Everyone" by Survivor (not really sure if this is a break up song)
"We're No Good Together" by Tesla
"Take Your Fingers From My Hair" by Zebra

Not to mention most of the lyrics sound really cruel, but the musically, it's wonderful.

Can We Still Be Friends - Todd Rundgren. Musically it's such as sad song, but the title and lyrics alone give it a sense of hope.

Given his "can-do" attitude and generally positive outlook on life, it seems like the perfect break-up song for Macca:

We cant play this game anymore
But can we still be friends
Things just cant go on like before
But can we still be friends
We had something to learn
Now its time for the wheel to turn
Grains of sand, one by one
Before you know it, all gone

Lets admit we made a mistake
But can we still be friends
Heartbreaks never easy to take
But can we still be friends
Its a strange, sad affair
Sometimes seems like we just dont care
Dont waste time feeling hurt
Weve been through hell together

Can we still get together sometime
You know life will still go on and on and on

We awoke from our dream
Things are not always what they seem
Memories linger on
Its like a sweet, sad old song
And in the end...

Run For Your Life- The Beatles DUH

Run For Your Life
Lennon/McCartney

Well I'd rather see you dead, little girl
than to be with another man
You better keep your head, little girl
of I won't know where I am

You better run for your life if you can, little girl
Hide your head in the sand little girl
Catch you with another man
That's the end'a little girl

Well I know that I'm a wicked guy
And I was born with a jealous mind
And I can't spend my whole life
trying just to make you toe the line

You better run for your life if you can, little girl
Hide your head in the sand little girl
Catch you with another man
That's the end'a little girl

Let this be a sermon
I mean everything I've said
Baby, I'm determined
And I'd rather see you dead

You better run for your life if you can, little girl
Hide your head in the sand little girl
Catch you with another man
That's the end'a little girl

I'd rather see you dead, little girl
than to be with another man
You better keep your head, little girl
of I won't know where I am

You better run for your life if you can, little girl
Hide your head in the sand little girl
Catch you with another man
That's the end'a little girl
Na, na, na
Na, na, na
Na, na, na
Na, na, na
These are the days of miracle and wonder....
