Favorite Cover Songs

Postby UsagiAndMamoru » Sun Apr 09, 2006 10:52 am

Alots to be said about cover songs. Sometimes the covers are better than the originals, sometimes they're not as good, but still enjoyable. Anyway, what are your favorite cover songs? Some of mine are:

"What'd I Say" by Bobby Darin
"Easy" by Faith No More
"You Can't Hurry Love" and "The Times They Are A-Changin'" by Phil Collins
"Knockin' On Heaven's Door" by Guns N' Roses
"Hey Jude" by Wilson Pickett
"Smooth Criminal" by Alien Ant Farm
"(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" and "Working In The Coal Mine" by Devo
"Johnny B. Goode" by Judas Priest
"Ball of Confusion" by Love And Rockets
"Wild World" by Mr. Big
"Only One Woman" by Alien
"Twentieth Century Fox" by The Escape Club
"Nobody But Me", "I'm Ready" and "Treat Her Right" by George Thorogood & The Destroyers
"Missing You" by Tina Turner
"Forever Young" by Laura Branigan
"Don't Be Cruel" by Cheap Trick
"Road House Blues" by The Jeff Healey Band
"You're So Vain" by Faster Pussycat
"Your Mama Don't Dance" by Poison
"Summer In The City" by Styx
"Someone To Watch Over Me" by Dennis DeYoung
"Ever Since The World Began" by Tommy Shaw
"Mr. Soul" by Rush
"The Passenger" by Michael Hutchence

Just some I know off the top of my head.

Those are all some great choices. Here's a few from the past we picked:

I still can't believe everybody leaves out "Respect" by Aretha Franklin. Hands down the greatest cover song ever!
And in the end...
