"US" Tour DVD content suggestions

Postby Q » Fri Apr 07, 2006 9:24 am

If anyone who has anything to do with putting together the 2005 US Tour dvd reads this (including Paul ) here's a couple of suggestions that I'd like to see included in the dvd.
1. At the Miami concert (I attended & it was AWESOME), Paul forgot some lyrics (Blackbird etc.)
2. The entire video shown at the beginning of the concert.
3. At the Tampa concert where Paul "slipped" into the piano pit.

Anyone have any other suggestions ?
One too many right now for me.....

Wow, you're lucky that you've had Mull of Kintyre played for you. Also, when does this DVD come out?

Also, does anyone know of any plans to release a CD of the concert like the 2002 concert?

Have a full concert in its entirety one one disc no crowd nothing off in the distance no bull crap like in BITUS. Just The Cameras on Paul and the band.

Then on the second disc have the concert but with backstage stuff built in like on BITUS but if not do the first disc....

If anyone has seen " Peter Gabriel's Secret World or Still Growing Up Live" You Will know what i am talking about.

I know on one interview i saw or maybe i was ready it in the Each One Believeing Book ((which is great if ou dont have GET IT)) that he tried on the Back in The World album put all the new songs that did on the other legs on there, but capitol or his other company wouldn't let him for some odd reason........

"US" Tour DVD suggestions

Postby MaccaFan197 » Sat Apr 15, 2006 9:48 pm

I agree with Paul_Fan. Any upcoming DVD of the "US" tour should be a straight-up concert video. Put any documentary-type video on a 2nd DVD apart from the concert. Keep the crowd shots to a minimum. We all know that the audience loves Paul. For reference on how it should be done visually and sound quality-wise, see the Eagles "Farewell Tour I."
