Do you like their music. I never really gotten into them. But The Soft Bulletin should be a fantastic record.

I seen them live at the SARS concert...they were very good...Race for the Prize and Do you Realise are very good tunes.
I go back so far... I'm in front of me!

the lips ARE an awesome band...they've got a very quirky attitude, vibe...wayne coyne has such a twisted, funny outlook, yet endearing and very humane, at the same time..it's like the musical equivilant of a douglas adams piece of writing. drozd, ivins and friends ably keep up, and i'd rather hear them go off on a tangent than just about anyone.
'soft bulletin' IS a very good record...but the lads keep getting better with age, so "yoshimi battles the pink robots' is, imho, their best, so far: a totally awesome cd...
they've got a new one...(?please..oh..please !) supposedly coming out this spring, heard the title of it the other day, but the memory plays tricks, it does...
for moi...each album has gotten better..
and they are quite a different experience live

I heard the new album today. Very interesting. I think, as goes for most great music, you have to hear over and over and it´ll grow on you.

have been listening to '...mystics' quite a bit, and, imho, it is every bit as good as 'yoshimi...' very quirky, very topical.
