Saint Etienne, you say - where are they from ?

There is not enough time to keep up with the music world. I 've never heard about this group before in my life, and you're very complimentary of them.
So much musical stuff to check out - I wish I were nicely paid to do just that :D

They are from England. (Which is kind of odd because Etienne is a French name - actually my name in French) I like them a lot. They did an interesting cover of Neil Young's "Only Love Can Break Your Heart" a few years ago.
And in the end...

Thanks, man.

It's odd indeed. So you say Etienne is the French version of you name !
Is it Ethan by any chance ? I'm trying to guess right, I have no idea.

Steven. I have no idea how that translation came about, but it's true. (Esteban, for instance, is much closer to looking like Steven than Etienne. The German/Scandanavian translation, naturally, is the closest to Steven in English - Stefan)
And in the end...

Yes indeed ! It's intriguing how some translations of your name (the Scandinavian one) are so unexpectedly (to me) close to home so to speak. In Italian it's Stefano, in Portuguese it's Estevão.
BTW I'm Frederico or Frederick or Federico.....
